D-Link Wireless Router Networking Problems

Hello,

I've had this d-link router for sometime now and have had no problems. I recently moved from one location to another and tranfersed my internet and tv package to the new location.

I set up the modem, router, etc properly, however I cannot access the internet. I can access it when a laptop is hardwired from the modem. But when the internet cable is connect to the router the problem arises.

I've done a hard reset on the router, and see the network name in my network connections on the computer - it shows the signal strengtht is excellent, but says "no internet connection"

When I go to the cmd and type in ipconfig/all I notice that it does not assign a proper IP address or a proper default gateway. Therefore, I cannot reset the settings online.

Please advise!
