I am a fan om the mod Counter-Strike, and it's pretty important that the [-peep-] works smothly. Now I have a big problem that's beginning to annoy me a bit. I have a First Pilot USB-mouse, and in Winxp it works without any problem, and so I won't get mad, I usually turn off the mouse-acceleration. The thing is the f*****g game won't realize that the acceleration is turned off, so it's a pain the but to play. I know it works because I have got it to work, and now I have tried all the drivers from logitech I have, even the one that worked last time, but without a satisfying result. I know not many of you out there have this problem, but I sure has it, and it ticks me off really bad. It's very hard to play with mouse acceleration...and annoying to, and i don't wanna change Windows version again, but in worst case, I'll install Win2k again..*sigh*...

plz help meee!!!!
*desperate*

I'd look for answers from the game company since this isn't an XP problem.

What problem(s) does having the mouse acceleration turned on cause in CS? I play a few FPSers and have no problems with my default settings. I have an Intellimouse Explorer... could be a Logitech problem. Try uninstalling their software and using the default Windows drivers...

If you design software that is fool-proof, only a fool will want to use it.

the problem is primary that i´m not used to it and secondary: it's pretty annoying when your moving slowly to be precise...
Last time i got rid of the problem i installed a driver, but now, no of the drivers i have worked...

but [-peep-] the same, running win2k now...

=)
