Windows xp ip conflict with windows7

windows 7 ip 192.168.0.1
windows xp ip 192.168.0.10
only two pc in network
xp shows ip conflict with windows 7
in event viewer of xp windows i found conflict with win 7 lan mac
but windows 7 does not show any conflict

why are you using static IPs anyway? set all your computers to obtain IP address automatically. Your DHCP server is probably already 192.168.0.1 and one of your computers that you have manually set that IP address to is conflicting with it.

as i told u that only 2 pc is on network no othe server or pc is on network theny why it conflict

i checked windows 7 but not found any entry of 192.168.0.10 that is conflicting with winxp

change the xp machine from 192.168.10 to .5 and you should be fine. xp may not be seeing that last 0 and setting itself up on .1
