I have a desktop and a laptop in the same room, about 30 feet from my router. The internet speed on the laptop is great, and on the desktop is horrible. I ran speedtest.net on both and this is what i got:

Laptop:
Ping: 15ms
Download: 16.71Mbps
Upload: 4.31Mbps

Desktop:
Ping: 14ms
Download: 1.72Mbps
Upload: 4.32Mbps

I'm using Linksys WRT150N router with stock firmware. Here are the computer specs:

Laptop: Sony Vaio, Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, Win7 SP1 64bit

Desktop: Core 2 Quad, 6GB RAM, Win7 SP1 64bit, Linksys WMP600N PCI Dual-band Adapter

Can someone please help me with this? Playing Guild Wars 2 on this desktop is not enjoyable at all.

Thank you in advance!

I thought maybe something is wrong with my Linksys WiFi card, so I tried using a Belkin USB Wireless adapter F9L1001 on the desktop and got the same result. Also, the drivers all hardware are up to date.
