Desktop frozen

Hey guys

My friend here has a problem with his windows 7 64 bit. The problem is that he can click on any of his icons on the desktop but can access them on the task bar. He has not installed any programs recently other then norton anitvirus free trial. i dont think thats the problem. It has been like this for a week and starting to become annoying so any ideas?

What happens after you un-install norton anitvirus free trial?

Have you tried System Restore?

i dont think i made a restore point

Run System Restore and see if one was made for you.
