I currently have a Sanyo 4900 on a one year plan that has been renewed once
so far and I am looking to replace it with a flip phone. My usage is voice
only with no desire for pictures, ReadyLink, or other bells and whistles. I
was thinking of a Motorola V60 at renewal time but does anyone have a better
suggestion? The Sanyo has done a good job here about 20 miles SW of Grand
Rapids.

Would I need to go into a Sprint store to get the new phone to *replace* the
old one or can that be done online? I don't think that I can get the $150
rebate on the V60 because my plan is $30 for 300 minutes and is one year at
a time.

Yea, you won't qualify for the rebate, as your plan is below SPCS's $35
threshold.

As to where you get your phone, you can get anywhere it's sold. At an SPCS
store, on line, Best Buy, etc.

Dont assume you'll be denied. Write to ecare@cc.sprintpcs.com
and ask them if you agreed to a 2 year contract would they
get you a v60 for free?

It's called negotiating, and if you dont ask, you wont get.
