Jumpers

I just got a new computer and am trying to install the hard drive from my old one, but cant figure out how the jumpers are susppose to be set to make it a slave drive. The hard drive in question is a Quantum Bigfoot 8 gb drive.
Any help you can give me would be appreciated

You should check the lable on the hard drive. They usually explain the jumper setting.

Goto maxtor.com and hover the mouse over support and then click on English support. There will be a few drop down menus, the thrid one should be for Quantum drive support. When you choose your drive type it will take to another set of drop downs. In the drop down for specifications will be Jumper settings, that should set you up nicely.
