Mac Pro, new Xserve will feature dual Intel Xeons, will start shipping today

It's Intel Xeon 5100 processors - not Core 2 Duos - that will be at the heart of the new Mac Pro series announced this morning. In fact, they'll have a dual-processor configuration for four simultaneous cores, replacing the old Power G5 "quad" configuration. And confirming speculation from last week, Nvidia's 7300 GT card will come standard, although an ATI Radeon is being offered as an upgrade. Read more

MSI Eclipse Plus: Does nForce 200 Boost 3-Way SLI?

The Sanyo RL 7300 is very similar in form and function to the
the RL 2500, but feels so much better. Perhaps the fact that it is made
in Malaysia rather than China has something to do with it.
Presumably the rubberized sheath around it's edges will protect it in
case of being dropped. The supplied AC charger is different. Doesn't use
a breech plug, it's a small cylindrical plug instead. And for the
techies out there, there's an extra setting in the "Phone Info" Menu,
namely "Advanced", which tells you the SID you're located in and what
channel it's using.

As its a true SMS phone it has some "canned" text messages for quick
action: i.e. "Let's get lunch"

And when activating it the rep asked "Do you want Vision, it's Free for
the First 2 months?. I replied (honest like I am), I already had a
Vision trial on this number, and was assured: "Doesn't matter, it's a
new phone". So I got her login ID, just in case, as that information is
at variance with what our resident know-it-all SprintPCS employee told
us.

Also found out two other things:

1. Known issue with the RL-2500 : VoiceDial doesn't work

2. Punch in ##3282 (OK) to change things.
I assume zero responsibility if you do that and mess up your own phone.
Use at your own risk, not recommended.

Nice looking phone with quite a few features. What was the cost on it?

3282 = DATA. When one dials that on a 5300, and saves phone number, it goes
right to the screen to plug in the MSL. I concur with Phillipe, that it's
not a feature to play with.
