I want to get some new memory, the memory in question has a configuration of 512mb pc2700 32mx8(16) and my motherboard says it only supports 512mb 8mx16x4 banks, will the memory i want work or not ?

Thanks.

Hi. You know your mainboard manufacturer and model number?. Go to crucial.com, stick the data in the memory selector and they will give you a list of applicable memory which works with your mainboard/motherboard. Simple?. No, Crucial.

Beat me, whip me, tie me up it chains, then make me watch Rhoda reruns.

The memory in question isnt crucial but i sent an email to the store and they said its possible it wont work given on the info i gave them, but i know that most crucial and all corsair xms memory works. Ive decided to get the 512mb 2700 corsair as it costs a mere £10 more hehe.
Thanks for the reply!
