Hello,

We would like to know how the two computers can be made to act as one .

More about : parallel computing

I'm assuming you mean as a cluster. It's a very specialist area and only really suitable for certain types of work. How it's done depends on what you are trying to do. MS Exchange can be run in a cluster, scientific calculations can sometimes benefit from a cluster. If you could let us know just what you're trying to achieve then we can narrow things down and give you some more specific answers.

+1. We really need to know what you are trying to do (video rendering, audio production, distributed computing, etc) in order to make proper recommendations. The simple answer is YES, but the best solution depends on your intent.

Well, first they have to care very deeply for each other. They may begin to show signs of affection by holding hands or snuggling against each other. Over time, this may lead to more consistent touching and kissing. Eventually, they merge (if briefly, and frantically). This is how baby computers are formed.

Only if Miss computer opens her ports and allows her partner to flood her interface...

This thread just got really weird. Time for a cold shower for some of us......

If you need a cold shower at the thought of copulating computational devices then you might also need therapy ;)

I can certainly refer you to some excellent professional help! [8-)

Also, not that the OP has not responded beyond the original posting. Probably was a homework/test question.

I'm just curious why Priya said WE.... is she The Borg... or possibly it's the queen and she is using the royal we... O.o

I suspect English is a second language to Priya, the name and sentence structure are big hints. [/Far to much time supporting foreign users]

@COLGeek - You mean all this time I've been doing Cyber Sex wrong??? I thought I'd gotten better since I abandoned my floppy and went solid state.

Hugs and kisses, my friend, hugs and kisses......Floppy, slow, SSD fast.....better is a matter of perspective. I think slow (as in longer) would be preferred by most. But then again, more storage is a plus.

Way too much to process.....processing.....processing.....buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ok I'll bite on this:)  It has me thinking a bit, I have two decent rigs mine and the wifes. Is there a way to open her ports for me to be granted an IRQ(intercourse request) anytime I want?

Does it matter that I have a SSD (Fast) and she has a standard HDD (Slow)? Is there a way to slow down the SSD to get the information to arrive at the same time as a HDD?

Opening the ports can be a long and tedious process. IRQ conflicts can take some serious effort to resolve, although the work can be most rewarding once you get it right. The WINE (Wife Intercourse eNablement Engine) project on linux makes this easy, on Windows you'll probably need to run affection.exe and shoe.com. In some cases you might have to run both multiple times before getting the desired result.

So long as you install the correct drivers you should be able to get the interface speed issues sorted. To do this you need to run the installer for viagra.sys, just download the package, run the exe and click on the little blue diamond on the screen. If that still doesn't do it then try running an interface test in a sandboxed environment such as PORN (Performance Optimisation Reset Node) before atempting any IRQ changes, it's proven to be a usefull standby for many home users.

Just make sure you watch out for STDs (secretly trojan-horse downloads). I was granted an IRQ by a cheap rig at the side of the superhighway, and life just hasn't been the same afterwards. Make sure you thread lightly.
