I had a nice older plan 49.99 a month for 500 minutes with 4500 night and
weekend minutes. I also had an add a phone connected to it. The bill was 84
dollars a month with tax. I get a call from Sprint for 1 cent more I can
get 700 minutes a month. I call everyone at Sprint they all agreed that is
a rue story. I changed plans. The first month's bill was 103 dollars. I
called they said it should have been 93.00. So the price goes up 10 dollars
for a 1 cent price increase. . I wonder if I called them back and got a
lower minute plan if that would lower the cost. I can not get more than a
one year contract

You got gypped. Two months ago I switched to a retention plan:
$40 per month, 750 minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, 8 pm.
By the way, it's confusing to quote 'after tax' prices since everyone's
tax rates are different.
