Hi, I want to record singing voice and mix it with the keyboard input
(midi files)
Can anyone recommend a good software or hardware for it.

You can't mix MIDI and audio because they're not the same. But you can
record the audio output of your keyboard playing the MIDI files and
also record your voice.

You'll need a program that's both an audio recorder and a MIDI
sequencer. Beginners tend to like Cakewalk products if you're on a PC.
You'll also need a microphone, a microphone preamp, and a sound card.

Alternately, you might find a fully integrated multitrack audio
workstation easier to work with. You'll still need your computer to
play MIDI files into your keyboard but I assume you have that covered.
Look at the TASCAM DP-01FX that we've been discussing here for another
user.

Hi,
Can you recommend a cheap preamp?
Will I be able to plug a vocal mic into a preamp?
Is there a sound card with the built- in preamp?
Thanks.

What's you definition of "cheap"?

Yes. See the RNP at FMR Audio's site:

Yes. I leave that to others.

But I think you would benefit from reading the rec.audio.pro FAQ:

Many sound cards have built-in mic preamps but most of them are pretty
dreadful. The external "sound boxes" (I try to avoid the term "sound
card" for anything other than an internal card) that use Firewire or
USB to connect them to the computer are getting pretty good. Some of
them have excellent mic preamps, most have decent preamps.

If you want to use your computer's sound card, you might want to use a
small mixer rather than a mic preamp. You can get a Behringer for
under $50 that will do the job adequately. That will give you mic
inputs, line inputs, mixing capability, a headphone amplifier, a
volume control, and a decent way of monitoring what you're recording.

Go to a music store and look around.

At first glance this looks like a consumer toy.
