Best USB data cable for A680?

Is it true then that I can still take my laptop online like I did with
my A500? I read of at least one person who says that he had done so.

I don't use outlook/outlook express so I really dont care about the
data syncing, just want to be able to use the phone as a modem from
time to time.

Best place to buy?
