So.. whenever I open a new tab, it always opens to that awesome page full of my most viewd links. I love that page. I recently upgraded my AVG Free and now when I open a new tab, that page is gone. I figured out how to get it back, though. Tools -> Internet Options -> Tab Settings -> When a new tab is opened, open: The new tab page. Now my problem is whenever I have to reboot my pc, it reverts back to the blank page and I have to go into settings to change it again. Is there a way to stop it from reverting to the blank page?

it may be a problem with one of the registry locations with your ie9. this may be solved by uninstalling and reinstalling ie9.

Thing is, this annoying problem didn't start until after I updated AVG ;(

Its the secure search part of AVG doing it.
Havnt found a permanent solution but every 10 days or so I remove the vprot.exe with regedit.

I finally fixed the problem! I got rid of AVG and went to McAfee (Which I discovered I got free with my Cox internet :p ) and I got rid of IE and went to Firefox ;D

There is an option to "show sites" that you frequently visit. Open a new tab and you will see that option.
