I have a 3 year old Inspiron 4000, PII 500 Mhz, 128 mb Ram, 6 G Hd, etc. that the lease is about to expire on. I like it as a second pc and would like to keep it, but I see the lease fine print says I can buy it at "market value". I haven't asked Dell what that amount would be yet but I'm wondering what to expect when I do? Anyone had any experience with this?
Tia for any info.

you mean a p3 500 right? I think the market value would be under 500 dollars. perhaps way under 500 dollars. I have seen new dell system go for 700, the other day I saw a dual xeon 2.2ghz system with scsi and a gig of 800mhz rd ram go for 1200 dollars! What a deal huh? If only I had had it. the damned ad expired tho :(

In battle Israel uses F-16's and big ass tanks, Palestine uses small children strapped to bombs. Which do you support?
