I want to connect my keyboard (Yamaha PSR-225GM) to my computer through the SoundBlaster Audigy game/midi port. I have got the right cable and everything is fine. I am using Cakewalk 9.

Just don't know how to connect... the keyboard is not detected... please help...

In your control panel sound applet, try switching your Midi device to the external synthesizer.

It may be necessary to disable the joystick to get it working.

You may also have to change the midi input device in Cakewalk to the same external synth setting.
