We have a wireless home network. I need to install Sims 2
on my PC, because my daughters PC does not have the
available hard drive space.
I DID install on mine, in the shared folder. I even mapped
a network drive for her to access. From her PC, I CAN
access the shared Sims folder that I created. However,
when running the cd from her PC, it still wants to install
on hers.
So, I tried the reverse. From HER PC, I tried to install
the Sims into the mapped network drive folder. It
says "Sims will install an additional 325mb on the C
drive". Ok, that's fine. But then the installation won't
complete.
Can anyone advise on the best way to give her access to
Sims 2, without having to install the entire game on her
PC? Thanks!
