Assuming the security key is the same as password. Attempting to receive internet on laptop wirelessly. Master PC is wired and works fine, but others in house no-go. Just purchased a Netgear G. Laptop not accepting security key. What's happening? Thanks, Larry

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums. There is a password to get into the router settings pages and therein lies the wireless security key. With a Netgear, the login might be admin and the password could be password.

Everything you need to know is in our our Sticky Post on how to find your password - also known as the wireless security key - by changing the settings in your router. Here's a link to it:-
