Synching a Treo 600 against an ACT! database.

Missing a lot of calendar items and contacts...

Is there a way to blow away all the data in Palm OS database and start
fresh?

What's the best newsgroup for Palm OS?

I'm at home in MS Operating systems but new to Palm.

A way to "blow out" what you currently have on your Treo 600 is to do
a "Hard Reset." Sorry to say that I've forgotten exactly how to do a
hard reset, but do remember that it involves the simultaneous pressing
of the
1) Power Button
2) Reset Button (inside the small hole at the bottom of the Treo
600, using the unscrewed plastic pointer at one end of the stylus)

A good, for me, overall newsgroup for Palm OS has been:
http://howardforums.com/.

Yes. While holding the power button at the top of the handset, press and
release the reset button. When the Palm logo appears, release the power
button. Follow the on-screen prompts to perform a hard reset, deleting
all data.
