I'm "new" to this Palm world, I used to use an old Sony Clié before and have
earnt an used Tungsten W.
Why is it so hard to find software, references and information about this
hardware? Was it taken out of market due to some defect? What is wrong with
it? :-) Is there some compatible hardware that I can take a look at?
I'm with mine for two weeks and haven't found out nothing (too) wrong, yet.

The Tungsten W is an OS 4 device that was selling at the price of an
OS 5 device at the time OS 5 devices were already available. So the
only reason to buy it was its wireless capabilities. In other words,
there is nothing wrong with it; it's just that it was never all that
common a device (I think).

And in addition, you don't seek software for some hardware.
You seek an operating system for some hardware, and then you seek
software for this operating system!
You have to search for Palm OS 4 software, not for Tungsten W software.

Don't know what you consider to be a 'nice' application, but nearly
all professional Palm software I know is available as PalmOS 4 version
as well.
