Slow file transfer to network disk.

Hi!
I have cisco router with usb 2.0 and external HDD connected to it.
On my Win7 I set up this hdd work as windows network drive.
While I am copying files directly from my PC to drive the speed is around 2MBps but when I download something from utorrent the speed is 10 MBps (we have local retracker in Moscow, Russia).
How to bypass the issue?
