I have a Yamaha F1 CD Writer and a Maxdor 80GB HD on a MSI KT7 Mainboard and i try do conect it on the Primary IDE the Writer as Slave and the HD as Master but when I do so the HD can be found from the BIOS. When I conect the HD as Slave and the Writer as Master it will work.

Has anyone a Idea What I can do ?

1.) Check the jumper settings on the devices, and make sure that you don't have them set incorrectly.

2.) Buy a second IDE cable, and jumper both devices as a Master, one to each cable. See if this solves the BIOS issue.
