I got a Creative 12 PC-DVD drive. In windows and my bios, it shows up as a Sony drive. This is on my new mobo, an Abit NF7 (bios rev. 1.5). Is it the motherboard? or is my drive messed up? I can read cd's, cd-r's but not dvd's.
*Update*
Got it to finally come up as a creative dvd, but after looking into it and checking out the drive physicaly, I can say it is dead. Pity, as I got it as a replacement for another one I rma'd. Guess im gonna have to buy another one.. Wont be a creative drive, never again.
