Hello, I need some help purchasing a LCD TV. So far I saw two 27" LCD TV's at www.amazon.com.

Anyone here have any experience with either of these brands or companies. Both offer really good prices. Also is there any reason by the Ovelia is about 250 dollar cheaper than the Westing House.

I am mainly going to use this LCD TV for high end computer gaming and watching movies. My setup is going to be a HP computer and I am going to put in an ATI 800 Pro XTM.

Finally, one last question is it worth paying a hundred extra dollars and wait for the x800 pro xtm or should I just buy the x800 pro?

Any comment or feedback would be very helpful. Thanks. =)

First of all, why are you shopping for TV's at Amazon.com?

Secondly, you're probably not going to get much help with Home A/V stuff on these forums.

And lastly...I do have experience with the Westinghouse Digital set. It's actually a great looking TV, which you dont really expect for LCD TV's in that price range. The picture quality is exceptional, the colors are vibrant and not faded-looking. Blacks are about as good as you can expect with an LCD. And viewing angle is really pretty good as well. I dont know if I would want to watch it if I was 85 degrees off center like it's advertised, but side to side in a normal environment shouldnt be a problem.

I've never heard of Ovelia.
