Just wondering if anyone has used this cooler <A HREF="http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/oldproduct/cnps5001CU.htm" target="_new">http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/oldproduct/cnps5001CU.htm</A>
Is it as good as it says?

Looking at the link you gave, I'd say no.

First there are no exposed cooling fins... if that fan stalls...

Second, Zalman, despite it's fancy designs, has a reputation for mediocre performance at best.

I'd suggest you look to a decent hybrid (copper base, aluminum fins) cooler of a more standard design.

Didn't hear much about it so it mustn't be very populair.
What kind of HSF do you want? Quiet, for overclocking, etc...

My dual-PSU PC is so powerfull that the neighbourhood dims when I turn it on

Heh....really.

"It is the quietest and highest performing CPU Cooler manufactured to date to our knowledge."

But, are they admitting knowledge about other manufacturers' coolers, or are they just talking about their own crap?

 It's real easy to declare superiority when you actively ignore the competition.

Methinks there's just way too much form over performance stuff going on right now... Do those blinking lights on your cooler really make the CPU work better? Gees...

Ofcourse they make your CPU run better. The transistors inside the CPU see the flickering lights and think... wow lets speed up man, then those irritating lights might shut-down when we're done.
