I have the asus A7N9X Deluxe. It has the Silicone Graphics SATA RAID chip. I configured a RAID 0 Volume using 2 Seagate 60GB SATA Drives. The total volume size was about 113GB.(not 120 as you would think)
Problem: I used a Norton Ghost 6.0.x floppy. It had no problem seeing the two addional 40GB IDE drives I has installed prior to the SATA drives. It even saw the SATA volume. However, It mis -read the Volume size(something like 8GB). Obviousley, Norton Ghost was fooled into thinking that the SATA volume was too small to Ghost my exsisting OS and data over. I tried installing a 45GB partition thinking that maybe there is a Max Size that Norton can Ghost. This did not work either.
Any Suggestions?
