Hi,

Maybe I am not selecting the gamepad properly and that is why my
Logitech Dual Action gamepad isn't working. There is absolutely no
information about how to do this in the manual.

Can someone step my through doing this for Practice or whatever? And
if there is something I have to do before hand?

(Based on Madden 2004) All you have to do is start a game and where it
prompts for which controller for which team, you press right or left
accordingly on your controller.

It certainly sounds like you have some major underlying issues on your
machine as several pads and keyboard/mouse work erratically. How are
all the devices plugged into your machine? Are they all sharing 1 USB
slot with another device? You should look at the hardware more, and
consider a clean install of Windows.

Practice defaults to a gamepad for both the defense and the offense,
so I've been leaving it like that. When I do, the play selection
screen goes bonkers. When I quit, so does the menu. If I only select
the offense (by dragging the defensive controller off), none of the
buttons work so I can't select a play and continue.

Directly into a USB port. Also tried connecting to a hub.

The controllers work properly in the control panel. The buttons work
in the controller configuration in the game.

Not for this defective game!

Thanks,
