Hello folks.

What CD-RW drives (brands, models, speeds) are currently...
- the most quiet?
- the most reliable with the most longevity?
- the best of both worlds?

What DVD-RW drives (brands, models, speeds) are currently...
- the most quiet?
- the most reliable with the most longevity?
- the best of both worlds?

Thanks much!

Overall, LiteOn is the best for CD-RW

Sony DRU-500A is the best DVD recordable drive now. It can record to all DVD formats except DVD-RAM. (DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW)
