I have a Sprint account with a Sanyo 4900. It has unlimited Vision and
I sometimes connect it to my laptop with a cable for data usage. If I
purchased a T608 and tried to switch my phones, would Sprint force me
onto the limited data usage plan that I heard people mention or could
I stay on my unlimited data usage plan?

Which unlimited Vision plan are you on? The current $15/month plan is for
usage from the phone only (not meant for use with the phone hooked up to
a PC) but is available to anyone with a Vision-capable phone. Is that what
you have? If so, and if the T608 does Vision, you're fine. I had the two-
month trial on my phone and would keep it if I had the extra $15/month to
spend. (but since I don't right now, I had Sprint turn it off yesterday)

Actually, there *is* a limited access Vision pack just for
the T608. Only about 5% of reps seemed to know about it,
though, so it's unlikely that the OP will get switched to
it.

Have you been using the T608's bluetooth with your laptop or other device?

I have one of the Sprint PCS VisionSM Premium Packs for $15/month.
I've been using my phone with my laptop just fine in limited fashion.

Thanks for the info. So it's not something that would automatically
pop up for the rep and force me to switch to it? I guess they don't
put a lot of emphasis on the reps knowing since the phone was limited
production and discontinued.

I'm speculating as much as you are, but yeah, that's my impression, too.

Officially, you're not supposed to. But as long as you don't do it a lot,
you probably won't get called on it.

I use it with my laptop once in a while for short periods of time to
check mail and grab a web page or three.
