My laptop wont connect to my wireless router but will connect the internet with

Hello, my laptop wont connect to the internet, it dosent even show my provider to connect with, however it works fine when connected by eternet cable to my router

are you able to connect to the wireless connection and if give you a message saying "No internet access"

Do you see the wireless icon on the bottom right of the screen?
When you click on that, does it give you some choices of networks to connect to?
Do you see one in there that matched your router brand? Linksys, Dlink, etc.
You may just have to tell your computer to connect to it if it is unsecured, so if you see it click on it and select connect.
