in dota 2 and league of legends i have massive fps drop in team fights . i post this Network Access Link Properties + –
Network performance (?): Latency: 140 ms, Loss: 0.0% +
TCP connection setup latency (?): 140ms +
Background measurement of network health (?): no transient outages +
Network bandwidth (?): Upload 8.8 Mbit/s, Download 12 Mbit/s +
Network buffer measurements (?): Uplink is good, Downlink 720 ms –
We were not able to produce enough traffic to load the uplink buffer, or the uplink buffer is particularly small. You probably have excellent behavior when uploading files and attempting to do other tasks.
We estimate your downlink as having 720 ms of buffering. This level can in some situations prove somewhat high, and you may experience degraded performance when performing interactive tasks such as web-surfing while simultaneously conducting large downloads. Real-time applications, such as games or audio chat, may also work poorly when conducting large downloads at the same time.

Don't run it on wireless if you are.

If it is on wired it is a lot of things that can cause this. You would need to check with a number of software to make sure you had issue with your internet. Your ISP will likely say there is no problem ...they will say that even if there is unless you have some form of proof.

Many times games say you are getting network loss when what is actually happening is the graphics is using so much it is causes traffic loss. Set the resolution as low as possible and see if you still get loss. The key way to test this would be to use 2 computers. Run the game on one and when you experience the problem run network speed tests on the other. I have seen the other PC has no issues and it turned out to be a video driver issue and not a network problem at all.

I would be suspect of a network or video driver. You can hope the newest work the best but you may have to try to go back to a older release. I am not expert on figuring out which windows drivers you should use. You should try both the ones from the motherboard manufacture as well as the chipset manufacture especially for the video card.
