It might be possible, but extremely doubtful they would. Your phone
constantly pages the local towers to say "I here", no matter where you are
on the SPCS system, and to pass on phone calls to you. If there were two
phones with the same number, which phone would get the call?
Then we get to the problem on if both phones are used at the same time,
twice the number of minutes are being used at the same time. So, to say it
plain and simple, SPCS won't do it.

The other suggestion would be (assuming one even subscribes to a VoIP
service and not just live off a cell) to subscribe to a VoIP service
that has a simultaneous ringing feature.

No. SPCS will assign only one ESN to a phone number.

No, I would not use both phones at the same time. I would have both phones
but only use 1 at a time.
Stupid huh?

Yes ... It is. You can do ESN changes via a call to CS anytime you want to.

No, if a phone is activated, it is in use. Sprint PCS will not
activate two phones on the same number, which aids in defense against
cloning and other fraud issues.
