I have been having problems with my D-Link wireless adapter. I am not having trouble connecting to the router or internet, but my download speeds used to be anywhere from 1.5mbs-2mbs and now I can barely get a 100kbs connection. I am not sure what the problem is as I have reinstalled the d-link program over and over again trying to fix the problem. The adapter itself has been dropped a few times and I didn't know if it might have just gone bad. I can barely stream video's on youtube much less game like I want to. If anyone knows what the problem might be or that can tell me that the adapter itself is messed up would be much appreciated.

Unplug the router from electrical supply and plug it back in. This will reset it.
Give it time to re-sync and settle down then try using it.

if no change, buy a new router - Netgear is my preferred choice.

Its not the router, the wii, the tablet, and my cell have no problem getting online or connecting. If it is hardware problem it has to be the network adapter not the router.
