i put a web server on a LAN managed by a microsoft router mn700 and
forwarded the ports to the webserver. everything functions fine from
outside the network (see http://UtilityOffRoad.com) , but you cannot access
the websites from inside the LAN (browser returns "cannot find" error).
when you ping the domains from within the LAN it pings the local loopback
127.0.0.0. is there any way to make the websites viewable from hosts within
the LAN?
thanks,
7

Loopback support is not in the current firmware for the MN700.

It's one of the features that should be included in the next MN700 firmware
update.

Use a host file and have it direct "UtilityOffRoad.com" to the LAN ip of the
computer running your http server.
