Last Thursday night, I called Sprint on my phone about switching
phones on my girlfriend's account (her old phone died, so wanted to
switch the ESN / reprogram another phone I had). When the phone was
programmed and working on her account, apparently my phone number got
switched on my account to some new number. I didn't notice until
Friday morning and it took until Monday afternoon to get my phone
number back. Sprint had not informed me nor had we even discussed
switching phone numbers on an account.

That finally got resolved, oddly enough, I'm considering getting a new
contract so I can try to get a new phone(s) and add my girlfriend onto
my account. Since I had this horrible experience, would executive
services or retention be the better group to discuss to get a better
deal and more towards new phones. Considering I had this terrible
experience, I could call up Exec Serv to get a credit, but would
prefer to combine the bad experience story with a retention deal.
Anyone had a similar situation?

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Retention deals are hard (if not impossible) to get. I have tried for 3
accounts and 7 phone lines. They were quite ready to cancel my service. I
kept hanging up and calling back to another operator and no change.
