Hi,

Recently a friend of mine bought a dell laptop with a wuxga screen or something. It handles 1900*1200 or something like that easily, and text is not too small to read.

Now my question is, why do laptop screens have these high resolutions, while normal flat panels that can handle 1600*1200 cost more that a whole laptop? I can't even find a flatpanel that handles 1900+ resoltion!

thanks,

flipside
