How to eliminate Startup & Running Processes?

Hey guys I have an Alienware M14x and just did a clean install of Windows 7...I know how to of course get to the startup and running processes, but not sure what the best way to go about deleting or stopping them is..any suggestions?

Trying to get my PC as fast as possible for gaming.

I would suggest be careful and read everything on your screen during the tweaks.

1. Hold "windows key and press R"
2. Type in "services.msc"
3. Follow http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations/black-vipers-windows-7-service-pack-1-service-configurations/ to turn every unnecessary services to "manual" so that they can still run when needed.
