Hi
I have 1 Corsair DDR370 512Meg DIMM that can do 200Mhz at CAS 2. Now I have an Epox 8RDA+ board on the way and my current Mobo is going to another machine. Now I have ordered 2 ordinary Samsung 256Meg CAS 2.5 DDR 333 DIMMS. I dont have a clue how much that will overclock but I am willing to bet on it doing at least CAS 2 at DDR333. So the question is this.
On an Epox 8RDA+ how much difference in performance is there between Single Channel DDR with the memory and FSB in sync at 200Mhz verses Dual Channel DDR with the FSB and memory in sync at 166Mhz with both settings at fastest memory timings? I just want to know which memory DIMM(s) to put in the 8RDA+.
Thanks

There are enough tests out there on the WWW. (World Wide Waste-of-time)

Dual channel wins. THG did an article back in November and a dual PC2700/DDR333 beat out a single PC3200/DDR400. Price will be more of a factor than performance. The are close but if you NEED the extra performance then use an nForce2 board with two sticks of PCwhatever at DDR333+ speeds.

Thats pretty much what I wanted to know. I knew there would be some articles out there on it but I was too lazy to look.
Thanks
