How do I completely wipe a drive clean in Windows 2000? I want to get rid of everything, including partitions, formatting, and drive performance software. What do I need to do? Thanks.
Run Disk management (by typing 'diskmgmt.msc' w/o quotation marks at Run command). Right-click on the drive you want to wipe and choose Delete Partition or Logical drive. However, it won't let you do that on the drive contains System files.
Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
