My laptops lags when connected to the internet!

my laptop is lagging on all fronts when connected to the interweb and i have no idea why, i dont know what specs you would need in order to diagnose but heres the spec page

Do you mean it works fine when it is not connected to a network (for word processing and such), or that webpages and/or videos and/or games are slow? Please be specific.
