Sprint and Plan Renewal

Apparently Sprint is just letting things ride. My plan is the $30/300
minutes which suits me nicely.

"The benefits of your PCS Advantage Agreement will continue even through
your contract with Sprint will not be automatically renewed (notice will
not be sent) at its expiration on October 12, 2004. Satisfaction of the
agreement does not result in any changes to your account. You will
continue to be on the same plan with the same monthly recurring charge,
unless you request a change."

save that society. It is doomed."

It's always been like. No changes are made to their customers, unless the
customer requests it. There are some folks out there who are still on the
Pioneer plan which was offered by in 96.

That's an incentive? It should be that way? Everyone else does the same.

It's not an incentive. It's SOP ... and yes, it should be that way. As for
everyone doing the same, IIRC Verizon had a promotional program, that had a
N & W option of 5000 minutes or something like that, that expired after a
set period of time.
