I'm installing WIFI for my personal business, and want to make sure my server and modem are unaccessable by WIFI users. I have the modem set to 192.168.1.1 and router(wifi) to 10.0.0.1.

The problem is i can still type in 192.168.1.10 (server's ip address) or 192.168.1.1 while on WIFI and i get can still get to both.

Hope I explained this clearly enough.

Thanks in advance

Casey

You will need a router that has the ability to run a guest wireless network and also restrict traffic between the network. Many of the router that advertise the guest wireless ability also have the firewall to restrict the traffic but you must read the fine print
