Wifi connected but internet will not load anything

Hello, i have a toshiba z930 with windows 8.

the wireless is connected and has been working fine til yesterday. when i open up browsers the tabs won't work. nothing can download

when i did ping yahoo.com it worked.

checked the lan setting and proxy server box is unchecked

so nothing loads. no message pops up

also internet works on all other devices such as my other laptop and ipad
