We are looking at purchasing a couple of 24 inch flat panels (Samsung T243) for GIS (computerized mapping) on Windows XP. This requires a display that can handle graphics and sharp text, plus occasional work doing 3D fly-throughs. I've read some posts that indicate that there may be issues using the DVI connection at the 1920 X 1200 resolution. Should I punt the DVI and go with analog connection or does someone have actual experience with one of the newer graphics cards that will successfully support DVI? At the price of these monitors I can't afford to make a mistake.

I already own a Samsung 213T with the Radeon 9600 Pro DVI and it works great at 1600 X 1200.
