How to view registry files on other partition

Hello,some days ago I had problems with my PC and I had to reisatall Windows 7, before doing that, however, I managed to copy the whole partition where I had the OS before to another computer to save everything I had there. Now Im trying to find my COD WaW cd key on the registry files because i lost the booklet with the key, what can I do to find that registry on the partition that I copied to other computer?

The key won't be hidden in plain text in the registry. You're SOL here. Don't lose your product key next time.

The only thing I could suggest is to find a way to make the disk bootable and then use the Registry Editor from the booted system.
