Hello,

I have 2 routers connected to a 48 port POE switch. I want to be able to connect an access point to the switch that will allow for one SSID to access one network and the other SSID to access the other network. Is this a possibility?

Here is the current network outline:

Router 1 - Cisco RV042 with an ip range of 10.80.7.x plugs into netgear switch. the first 40 ports are on VLAN 1 and untagged.

Router 2 - Sonicwall TZ200 with an ip range of 10.80.4.x plugs into the same netgear switch. the last 8 ports are on VLAN 4 and untagged.

My access point is a Cisco WAP4410N that is currently on VLAN4 of the netgear switch. I would like to create a second SSID on this AP (guest access) to access VLAN 1 of the netgear switch.

My switch is a Netgear PROSAFE FS752TP-100NAS

Is this a possibility and does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,
Matt
