I don't know if you people have heard of this one on the radio or
television or not, but I have and I just signed up for it. Basically,
it adds up to this:
Two Phones on plan
800 anytime minutes
$5 for each additional 100 minutes
$10 for each additional phone after the first two.
$70 / month
So, I was on the Fair & Flexible [America] plan, and now I essentially
get 100 extra minutes / month and it is $10 cheaper / month for each
additional phone!

Unless you need more than three phones, the standard retention
plan I have is a better deal:
2 phones, 750 anytime, unlimited n/w, 8 pm start, $60.

Sure it is. But not just anybody can call up and get a retention deal.
ANYBODY can call up and get the Fair & Flexible Family plan.
But, since we are talking what one of us can get and not the other ... I
get a 17% discount on top of that $70 base price because of my large
employer :-) That means I get this deal for $58 and I am still free to
add more phones on at the rate of $10 ($8.30 for me) / month / phone.

And best of all, your "overage" is 100 minutes fir $5. The overage on the
retention plan is 40 cents/minute. *Much* better deal.

I switched to this plan a few weeks ago. It's a great deal for me and my
girlfriend. We started with Sprint PCS two months ago and had the Free and
Clear America 1100 minute plan with 1 add a phone. Our total was about $85
a month. Now, we pay $70 and if we by chance we use 1100 minutes in the
month, we will still end up paying about $85. It's a win-win situation for
us. Of course, we can also add lines for $10 instead of $20. That is a
nice bonus.

I jumped on this the day I heard about it. In fact, when I called Sprint to
change over to it, the rep didn't even have it in her computer yet. I had to
wait on hold about five minutes while she checked into it. We have four phones
on our account so the lower add-a-phone rate saves us $20 a month from the one
we were going to change to ((Fair & Flexible option 2)). I also like the extra
100 AT minutes. I've since seen ads in both print and on TV. In the TV ad, they
updated the Fair & Flexible commercial where the Sprint guy (does he have a
name?) steps off the bus. It's highlighted on the Sprint PCS web site now, too.

Hi,
I actually think you get 200 minutes / $5 from 1100 to 2100 minutes of
usage. That is only 2.5 cents / min!
On another topic... I received an email from Sprint today. They are
offering an UNLIMITED local plan for $50 per month (long-distance is so much
per min). You can add long-distance to your minutes for $5 per month. So
at $55, that isn't too bad for an unlimited local plan!
Regards,
Thomas

Yeah. That's what got me to switch from F&C to F&F. 5c/minute on overages. Even
if they bump you up 100 minutes it's still only $5.

My employer rates only a 5% discount. :-(

Not if you don't need that many minutes. I've never gone over my
750 minutes.

I have three phones on a couple of plans and it would make a lto of
sense to be able to share the three phones on this type of pla.
Only one Question:
One of my phones is used primarilly in another State (kid at College).
I woder if SprintPCS would allow such a sharing plan with one phone
ofut of State. Also It doesn't look like this is the sort of plan
wheereby one can roam Continental USA. Can this be upgraded?

Scroll down the webpage a bit further, you will see the F & CA option
available for $5 / mo., if you are in a SPCS corporate area. If you are in
an affiliate market, then the price will be between $7 - $10/mo.

As long as that third phone is in network, you bet you can share. If it
is out of network, you can still share, as long as you get the F&F
America plan [$5 / month in a corporate market] and as long as the
roaming minutes are no more than 50% of the total minutes used.

I just called *2 and changed to this plan, too. F&FAfF, or Fair &
Flexible America for Families. With 4 lines, lots of options, and using
about 1100 anytime minutes/month, this will cost about $25-30 less per
month than before. My last plan change was in Dec. 2003.
