Hello,
While coverting my HP pavilon desktop with dual
boot ( Fedora + XP) to windows 7 , I accidentally
deleted (probably ) the boot partition. I could not
install win 7 from the CD. However I was able to
install Ubuntu 11.10 from installable USB.
Pl guide me to correc the bootmagr error & install
windows 7 from the CD.

actually you want to install Windows 7 first, then install Fedora or Ubuntu and it will automatically create a boot menu for you. if you already have both OSes installed you can fix the grub bootloader with the command:

sudo update-grub
