Athlon 2400+
Asus A7N8X
GeForce Ti4200
512mb Twinpack of Corsair XMS 2700 CL2 (two 256mb sticks)

When I run the Sandra memory bandwidth benchmark I get around 2000 mb/s for the top bar and about 1950 mb/s with the lower bar - are these bad results for my system setup? It should by synchronous and extremely fast. Is there a setting I need to alter in my BIOS, the multiplier perhaps? Also, the test says it uses 256mb for the test, is it not testing using the dual channel mode?

thanks, badassjedi

Does the 2400XP run at 333fsb, thought it was only 2500 & higher that had this...
what does windows/BIOS say about your amount of memory in the system???

Hmmm, wonder if I can get a valid page fault ???
these invalid ones are far too commonplace...

No the 2400+ doesn't run at 333.

My BIOS tells me I have 524 of RAM.

Should I get two PC2100's to run in-sync with my CPU? Or do you think PC2100 is too slow, even in dual channel sync mode?

Or should I just return my 2400+ for a 26 or 2700+ for the 333MHz bus and use the Corsair XMS PC2700 RAM that I have?
