I can't start Motocross Madness 2. I have ran this game
numerous times before, since I reformatted and
reinstalled it keeps saying " The program you are trying
to run requires a current Indeo codec.
To obtain a current driver that is compatible with this
version of Windows, please contact the manufacturer at
http://indeo.ligos.com. I looked on this site and it's
$14.95, I don't get it, I then proceeded to download
trial version of Motocross Madness and it worked fine,
what can I do, I have the latest Nvidia drivers
installed. Thanks in advance.

I know this won't be too helpful but I am having exactly
the same problem. Did you get a reply to your original
question and thus can you help me resolve the same?

Many thanks, Mike

Microsoft Motocross Madness 2 not starting up .. ?????

HERE is a QUICK FIX

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Motocross Madness 2

in that folder there is a FOLDER called UI

open this folder

in it you will find 3 AVI files

Delete the one called INTRO.AVI then make a copy of EVENTS.AVI (right click and drag and drop)

it will be called "Copy of EVENTS.AVI" Re-name this file to INTRO.AVI

FIXED

on starting the game you will see a crappy Video instead of the cool one that had Incubus's music in the background.

The old INTRO.AVI needed a special codec so instead of trying to find the codec just do this fix and start playing.
